Five people killed in Ukraine’s Kherson region following HIMARS attack on bus - Russia’s TASS

A bus with civilians inside has come under a missile attack in the Russia-occupied Kherson region of Ukraine, reports Russia’s state news agency TASS, citing emergency services.

The agency claims that four HIMARS missiles were launched into the area near the Darivka bridge.

“Unfortunately, as a result of the attack, five people were killed and five were injured,” the Kherson region Ministry of Health controlled by the pro-Russian “authorities” says.

It is noted that the injured are in a condition of moderate severity. The ones with shrapnel wounds have been hospitalised.

Earlier, head of the Zaporizhzhia region of Ukraine Oleksandr Starukh said that Russia had for the first time used Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones to strike at the city of Zaporizhzhia controlled by Ukraine.

Infrastructure objects in two districts of the city had been damaged, he added. According to the preliminary information, there is one injured man who was hospitalised.
