Local MPs in 18 Moscow and Saint Petersburg constituencies demand Putin’s impeachment

Local MPs in 18 constituencies in Moscow and Saint Petersburg have urged Russia’s president Vladimir Putin to resign from his position, as per Ksenia Torstrem of Saint Petersburg.

“We, Russia’s municipal councillors, believe that Vladimir Putin’s actions detriment the future of our country and its citizens,” reads their joint statement.
