Drone attacks Sevastopol headquarters of Black Sea Fleet again

A drone has again attacked Black Sea Fleet’s headquarters located in Sevastopol, said the region’s governor Mikhail Razvozhayev.

The attack occurred at around 8AM. “The drone was dealt with by air defence [of the fleet]. The UAV was shot down right above the headquarters. It fell on the roof and caught fire. No damage has been achieved,” Razvozhayev explained.

Yesterday evening, an anti-aircraft warfare system was activated in Sevastopol and Yevpatoriya because of a drone. “The same story as yesterday. According to initial data, it was a UAV. [The drones] were destroyed. Let’s stay calm. The military do their job well. Let’s support them,” Razvozhayev wrote.

At the end of July, a “yellow” terrorist threat level was introduced in Sevastopol after a drone had attacked Black Sea Fleet’s headquarters. Due to the same reason, Navy Day celebrations were cancelled in the city.
