Russia’s defence agency confirms Kharkiv strikes

The Russian Defence Ministry has confirmed that it carried out strikes on Ukraine’s Kharkiv in a daily bulletin.

“A temporary camp station for foreign mercenaries in the city of Kharkiv has been struck by ground-based high-precision weapons. More than 90 militants have been eliminated,” the ministry claims.


At the same time, the Kharkiv region authorities reported missile strikes on residential areas of the region. The strikes destroyed two dormitories, Oleh Synyehubov, Governor of the Kharkiv region, reported.

A missile strike on a building in Kharkiv’s Saltivka district left 7 locals dead and 17 more injured. Meanwhile, 2 more people died in the Slobidskyi district of the city after a missile strike in the morning, 18 people were injured, including 2 children, according to the local authorities.
