Governor: 13 people killed, 11 injured in shelling of Ukraine’s Dnipro region

Thirteen people were killed in the shelling of Marhanets and the Myrove hromada in the Dnipro region, 11 were injured, regional governor Valentyn Reznichenko stated.

According to Reznichenko, the region’s Nikopol district was shelled twice from Grad multiple rocket launcher systems. About 80 projectiles were launched at residential districts.

“As of this moment, the Russian attack on the Nikopol district took the lives of 13 civilians. 11 are injured, 5 are in serious condition,” the governor said.

The governor also reported that a power line in the region had been disabled in the attacks, leaving several thousand people without power. Emergency teams were sent to the site.

One woman was killed in the settlement of Vyshetarasivka in the Myrove hromada, Reznichenko said. Her house was fully destroyed in the attack. Eleven houses and a gas pipeline were damaged in the village.

Officials of the Zaporizhzhia region reported that one woman had been killed in shelling of the region.

“According to preliminary information, the defenders of the Zaporizhzhia region took down two enemy missiles,” Secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council Anatoliy Kurtev said.

According to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, 361 children were killed in Ukraine since the start of the war, at least 705 were injured.
