Pro-Russian administration of Kherson region: Ukraine hits Inhulets bridge with HIMARS

Ukraine’s armed forces have delivered a strike upon a bridge across the Inhulets river with HIMARS, according to Kirill Stremousov, a self-proclaimed pro-Russian “governor” of Ukraine’s Kherson region, TASS reports. He says the bridge is still usable.

Ukraine has also struck the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant with HIMARS, Stremousov claims. Anton Herashchenko, an official advisor for the Internal Ministry, has confirmed the strike on the Inhulets bridge, saying that it “will eventually be destroyed, as Russia’s reserves are constantly using it.”

Ukraine struck Kherson’s Antonivka Road bridge on 19 July, as per Serhiy Khlan, a local official. The nearest functional bridge is now located in Nova Kakhovka, about 100 km away.
