Three people killed in Russian attacks on Kharkiv

Three people were killed in the attacks on Kharkiv by the Russian armed forces, Oleg Synegubov, the head of the regional military administration, reports.

At least 31 people were injured, including two minors aged 4 and 16. The injured were transported to hospitals. Synegubov urged local residents to avoid going out on the street unless they have to.

According to preliminary data, Russia attacked the Kharkiv area from multiple-launch missile systems. According to Kirill Timoshenko, deputy chief of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office, the Russian army deployed Smerch multiple rocket launchers, firing 10 missiles.

Besides, Timoshenko reports that the Russian forces had fired four missiles on the Odesa region. One of the missiles hit a building. Information regarding injured persons is currently being verified.

It is impossible to verify the information provided by the warring sides during an ongoing conflict.

The Russian forces carried out three attacks on Kharkiv overnight, destroying an entire section of a six-storey apartment block.

Rescue workers managed to pull out an 86-year-old woman from the rubble. She resided in an apartment on the second floor of the building. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports that there have been no casualties or injuries following the attack.
