Kharkiv: residential building partly destroyed following missile strike

In the early hours of the morning, Russian troops launched three missile strikes on Kharkiv, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Following the explosion, one entrance to a six storey residential building in the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv has been completely destroyed.

Rescuers managed to save a 86-year-old woman that lives in a flat on the second floor from under the rubble. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, no one was killed or injured.

Another missile hit a school in the Slobidskyi district of the city. The third missile hit the ground nearby the warehouses in the Osnovianskyi district.

A week ago, the head of the regional military administration Oleh Synyehubov reported that three people had died following shelling of the Kharkiv region.
