One civilian in the village of Grafovka, Russia’s Belgorod region, has been killed in shelling, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported.
“The man was doing household chores when a projectile landed in the backyard, he died instantly from the wounds. His wife with acute stress reaction and mother with hypertensive emergency are being taken to medical facilities. All the necessary medical care is provided,” he said.
According to the official, villages of the Shebekensky town district were shelled by Ukrainian forces for over an hour.
The shock wave blew out windows in ten private houses in Grafovka, façades and hedges as well as outbuildings were damaged, Gladkov added. Power lines were also affected.
The governor said that the Ukrainian army attacked Shebekino, Murom, and Novaya Tavolzhanka. More power lines were damaged there.
