“The quadcopter was equipped with a video camera. The memory stick inside proves that it was launched from Ukrainian territory and was used for reconnaissance, filming equipment used to guard the Belarusian border,” reads the agency’s statement.

Border guards say they used a counter-copter radio electronic gun to intercept the drone.

BelTa, a pro-government Belarusian outlet, reported that a Ukrainian S-300 missile had hit the territory of Belarus in late December 2022.

The Belarusian Defence Ministry commented on the matter, saying that the country’s air defence systems had taken down an S-300 missile launched from Ukraine’s territory, its fragments dropping at an agricultural field in the Brest region.
