Occupation authorities report ‘terror attack’ in Enerhodar, one killed

One person was killed as a vehicle exploded in Enerhodar, the Zaporizhzhia region, a town occupied by Russia, says Vladimir Rogov, a local Russia-installed official.

“A car exploded this morning. Preliminary data indicates one person was killed,” Rogov wrote on Telegram.

He also added that the explosion smashed the windows of nearby buildings “up to the 9th storey”. One more car was destroyed as it was parked next to the targeted one.

The fire has been put out. Rogov also noted that bomb disposal experts are working on the scene to prevent a potential follow-up explosion. It is reported that the person killed inside the car was a local police officer.

A car with Velentina Mamay, a businesswoman and an ex-MP of the local council from a pro-Russian party, inside exploded on 24 January in the occupied town of Berdyansk. The woman survived, she says, and got away with a concussion.
