The US is preparing to send a new military assistance package worth $275 million to Ukraine, it will include anti-drone equipment and air-defence boosting aid, Reuters reports.
It is not specified what equipment will be supplied to Kyiv. The US can make an official announcement on 9 December, the agency claims.
Washington is expected to send HIMARS missiles as well as 155-mm howitzer shells, Humvee military vehicles and generators.
The latest military aid package for Ukraine is provided as part of the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) which does not require congressional approval.
In total, the US transferred military assistance worth around $19.1 billion to Ukraine following the Russian invasion, Reuters calculated.
