Udmurtia lawyer Dmitry Talantov, who earlier defended Ivan Safronov in court, has been accused of posting “fake news” about the Russian army, the Pervy Otdel Telegram channel reports.
Talantov’s Facebook post condemning the actions of the Russian army in Bucha, Irpin and Mariupol is the reason behind the accusation.
The detectives believe Talantov was “aware of the website’s popularity and the fact that his opinion was reputable for other lawyers and users.” It is supposed that Talantov’s anti-war post will lead to “people having a sense of fear, unrest and insecurity from their own state.”
