Children in Russia’s Kislovodsk offered to shoot ‘fascist’ dummy for Victory Day
Officials in Russia’s Kislovodsk organised an event during which children were offered to shoot a dummy wearing the swastika symbol with an air gun.
Kislovodsk Mayor Yevgeny Moiseev wrote on his Telegram channel: “The last fascist was shot in Kislovodsk. A dummy of a fascist and occupier was hanged on the gate, for children to shoot at it with an air gun. Our young should know from an early age about the global evil that is fascism and Nazism, which is trying to re-emerge right now,” Moiseev wrote.
The Kislovodsk mayor added that children in the region are raised as patriots and defenders of their homeland.
Moiseev later deleted the post from his Telegram channel. It is still up on the Kislovodsk Portal Telegram channel, which reposted the publication.
Argumenty i Fakty newspaper reported that residents of Kislovodsk complained about this event to regional governor Vladimir Vladimirov, asking him to “give an appropriate assessment” of the situation.
