One killed in Kherson trolleybus strike

One person was killed when a trolleybus was hit by an artillery shell in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson on Tuesday, Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has announced.

A police officer, 49, was killed in the attack. Two civilians also suffered severe injuries and were hospitalised, according to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin.

The attack also reportedly set a warehouse on fire.

Russia launched a series of drone strikes on Ukraine overnight, with explosions reported in Lviv, where at least one person was killed, and Kharkiv.
