Ukraine intelligence: drone hits factory near Moscow

The drone that Sergey Sobyanin, the Moscow mayor, reported down earlier today had in fact hit the Tomilino Electronic Factory in Lyubertsy near Moscow, RBC Ukraine cited Andriy Yusov, a representative of Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence, on Friday.

“Sobyanin lied to everyone, [Russia’s] air defence took nothing down. The Tomilino Electronic Factory in Lyubertsy is on fire. This is the facility Russians use to produce electronics for their missiles,” Yusov revealed.

RBC Ukraine credits the drone attack to the Main Directorate of Intelligence. The agency, however neither confirms nor denies its involvement.

Sergey Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, reported earlier today that a drone had been taken down near Lyubertsy.

“There are response teams working in the area, no casualties or damages were reported,” Sobyanin said.

Apart from Lyubertsy, drones also attacked the regions of Kursk and Belgorod overnight, as well as the airport in Pskov.
