Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) reported on Wednesday that it has destroyed four Russian Il-76 tactical airlifters in an attack on Pskov airport overnight.
“Enemy targets were hit on the airfield in Pskov. Explosions destroyed four Il-76 aircraft and damaged several more,” RBC-Ukraine wrote citing HUR spokesperson Andriy Yusov.
Yusov claimed the attack was carried out using “special equipment” and special forces operating on Russian soil.
Russian state media previously wrote that four Il-76 planes had been damaged at Pskov airport in the country’s northwest, not far from the borders with Estonia and Latvia.
