PMC Wagner’s camp in Belarus has no less than 750 pieces of equipment, as per Radio Liberty Belarus that cites Planet Labs satellite imagery.
A total of 754 objects that appear as vehicles are visible in the images. The calculations reveal that the camp has:
- 62 tilt-covered lorries
- 534 vehicles that appear as UAZ, lorries, UAZ vans, GAZ vans, UAZ Patriots, and other cars
- 33 buses
- 99 trucks, including platform ones with what appears to be construction machinery
- 26 trucks or other vehicles that appear as trucks, painted in military colours. Those may be Ural trucks, KamAZs, or armoured vehicles.
Belarusian Hajun project says a total of 11 convoys of equipment that may be owned by PMC Wagner have arrived in Belarus. Six armoured vehicles Shchuka (also known as Chekan) were spotted in one of the convoys: those vehicles are often used by Wagner fighters and have not been seen in other convoys arriving in Belarus, the project points out.
On 12 July, the Russian Defence Ministry stated that the Wagner Group had handed over more than 2,000 equipment units to the Russian army.
