The number of people killed in a recent Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk has risen to 10, 61 more people are injured, Ukraine’s national police report.
According to the law enforcers, Russian troops used Iskander missiles to attack the city. A 17-year-old girl and two 14-year-old sisters are among the victims of the strike.
Moreover, 61 civilians are injured, including an 8-month-old baby, his life is not in danger. Police officers are still working at the site as well as bomb experts, detectives, forensic experts, and paramedics.

BBC in Russian notes that three citizens of Colombia have been injured: founder of the Aquanta Ucraina (Stay Strong Ukraine) organisation and Colombian lawmaker Sergio Jaramillo, author Héctor Abad, and journalist Catalina Gómez. They were accompanied by Ukrainian novelist Victoria Amelina, who is also injured and is in critical condition.
Apartment blocks, retail spaces, cars, a post office, and other buildings were in the epicentre of the explosion, windows and doors were smashed and blown out. A fire broke out as a result of the attack.
Ukraine’s national security service reports that a “Russian security service agent”, who helped Russian troops to coordinate the missile strike on Kramatorsk, was detained. The agency claims that the agent was instructed to communicate locations of local critical infrastructure facilities and places of mass gatherings of civilians.
Russian forces launched the attack on Kramatorsk late on 27 June. One missile hit a restaurant in the central part of the city, the other struck the village of Bilenke. The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office opened a probe into violation of laws and customs of war.
