Russian drone attack on Odesa kills three locals

Russian forces carried out a nighttime attack on Odesa, southern Ukraine, killing three civilians and injuring ten more, Ukraine’s South operational command reports.

The number of people injured in the Russian attack on Odesa has risen to 26, including two children and a pregnant woman. Moreover, it is reported that one missile landed on the coastline, its debris injured three people.

According to the Ukrainian side, Russia used Shahed drones to strike Ukraine’s Odesa region. All UAVs were downed by air-defence systems. However, the destroyed fragments caused a fire on landing, while explosion shockwaves damaged several buildings. A crater formed near one of the houses. Drones were also reportedly downed in the Mykolaiv region.

Earlier, a missile strike on Ukraine’s Zhytomyr region killed one civilian and injured three more, while the number of injured people in an attack on Uman went up to eight.
