Two drones crash into highway in Russia’s Kaluga region

Two UAVs have crashed into the federal highway M3 “Ukraine” in the Kaluga region of Russia, the local governor Vladislav Shapsha reports.

The first drone fell in the area near the town of Zhizdra, the second near the village of Duminichi.

The drones did not blow up, according to the governor, the territory has been cordoned off. Alternative routes have been organised for drivers.

M3 “Ukraine” is a highway from the city of Kaluga in the direction of the city of Bryansk and the Russian-Ukrainian border.

Furthermore, a drone was shot down in the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region of Russia, the local governor Roman Starovoyt reports. Meanwhile in the Belgorod region, there was a fire on an energy infrastructure facility. The preliminary cause of the fire is an explosive device dropped off a drone, the regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov says. No one was hurt.
