Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Moldova, as per his Telegram channel.
According to Zelensky, he will participate in the European Political Community summit.
“Many bilateral meetings. We’re working on a fighter jet coalition and proposing a Patriot system coalition. The EU, NATO, peace plan. Everything to defend our future,” the Ukrainian president said.
The second meeting of the European Political Community will include representatives of 47 states, as well as the heads of the European Council, European Parliament, and European Commission. The summit will take place in the town of Bulboaca, 45 km away from Chisinau, Moldova’s capital.
“We join forces today to discuss peace & security, energy resilience, climate action, & connectivity in Europe. Moldova embraces this opportunity to strengthen the continent’s security, stability, & prosperity. Let’s shape a better connected and safer Europe for all,” Moldova’s President Maia Sandu said in a statement.
