Several drones were downed in Russia’s Krasnodar region. The region’s control HQ has stated that the drones were attempting to get close to the Ilsky oil refinery.
“The oil refinery was not damaged, and the fumigation was put out by the local personnel. No people were injured,” the control HQ stated.
The Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region caught fire earlier on 4 May. The cause of the fire was not named, however, according to a TASS source in emergency services, it happened as a result of a drone attack. Baza wrote that eyewitnesses heard explosions before the fire started. The fire at the Ilsky oil refinery repeated the following day.
