Russian official: around 100 people evacuated from Ukraine border-adjacent villages

Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov has announced that around 100 people have been evacuated from the villages of Glotovo and Kozinka located near the Ukrainian border.

“We are now working in the liberated settlements. We have evacuated one more injured person. She is a civilian woman from the village of Kozinka, she is now in city hospital No. 2. She has fragmentation wounds in the left shoulder and the small of the back plus a gunshot fracture of the humerus,” he noted.

Gladkov also denied the report that a “sabotage and reconnaissance group” infiltrated the Borisovsky district. According to him, the Ukrainian army shelled the villages of Bogun-Gorodok, Lozovaya Rudka, and Tsapovka. No one was injured, nothing was damaged.

Update

Gladkov has announced that the counter-terrorist operation order has been cancelled in the region.
