Kyiv authorities: Russia attacked Ukrainian capital with missiles, UAVs, three injured

The Russian military attacked Kyiv with missiles and UAVs overnight. Preliminary data says three people were injured, the local administration and mayor Vitali Klitschko report.

Reportedly, debris of a missile set fire to several vehicles; a building of 200 square metres was also damaged. The fire has been put out already.

Missile debris also fell inside the Kyiv Zoo, no injuries reported.

This has been the eighth aerial attack on the Ukrainian capital this May. “It was very special due to its intensity as so many missile strikes were executed in a very short span of time,” the Kyiv administration says in a statement.

Preliminary reports are that most of the targets in Kyiv’s airspace had been taken down.
