Two drones attack military ground in Russia’s Voronezh region, media report over 10 injured servicemen

Two drones attacked a military facility in Russia’s Voronezh region today, says Alexander Gusev, the local governor.

“As a result of our measures, one of the drones went off its course and fell, the second was destroyed with weapons. We keep working together with the law enforcement and the military command,” the governor said.

Baza and Astra Telegram channels were the first ones to report the incident. They say the military ground of Pogonovo was attacked, and 10 servicemen were injured. A total of 10 ambulances arrived at the ground, sources say.

Baza says that a total of 14 servicemen were injured. Preliminary data indicates there were no victims.

Astra also reports the Baltimore military airfield in Voronezh had been attacked on 9 May. An unidentified missile had allegedly appeared a few minutes before the military parade started in Moscow’s Red Square.

“The debris of a downed missile was found in Voronezh in the evening. We have yet to identify the type of the missile and its attribution. The found item is not explosion hazardous,” the Telegram channel says.

Preliminary indications are that a radar head of an unidentified homing missile was found in Voronezh.
