Kursk governor reports downed drone, its debris damage house

The air defence of Russia’s Kursk region has taken down a drone, local governor Roman Starovoyt reports.

“The debris fell in the locality of Tolmachevo. Nobody was hurt, but damage was inflicted to a gas pipe and the facade of a detached house. Response teams are working on site,” the governor wrote.

A Ukrainian drone exploded in the Belgorod region, says local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

“An explosion happened in the locality of Olkhovatka overnight. It looks like an enemy drone caused the blast,” he wrote, adding that two houses, a library, a post office, a rural health post, and a vehicle were damaged.

A drone attacked the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery on 4 May. This refinery is the largest plant of its type in south Russia.

The Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region of Russia caught fire the following day.

Russian air defence shot down 22 Ukrainian drones in the Black Sea waters near Crime on 7 May, Russia’s Defence Ministry claims.
