Russian troops have shelled Kherson, south Ukraine, killing one person and injuring nine more, the Kherson authorities reported.
The strike landed on a city market. The injured people are currently receiving medical care.
“There isn’t a single military facility nearby,” Kherson region governor Oleksandr Prokudin noted.
The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has launched a pre-trial probe into violation of laws and customs of war.
