Two people were killed in the Ukraine-controlled part of the Donetsk region following Russia’s attacks, and four more were injured, says local governor Pavlo Kyrylenko.
The killed individuals used to live in Bakhmut. Numerous houses and infrastructure facilities were destroyed.
A man, 65, was killed in Kupiansk, says Kharkiv governor Oleh Synehubov. Several houses, a transport infrastructure facility, an educational institution, and a maternity ward were damaged in the region.
A woman and two children were killed following a mortar shelling in Ponyativka, Kherson region, says Andriy Yermak, the Head of Volodymyr Zelensky’s Office.
“Russia’s military used mortars this afternoon to hit the locality of Ponyativka. The enemy deliberately targeted a residential building with people inside,” says the local government.
Russia has yet to comment on the strike.
