In Russia’s Ulyanovsk, “a tragic accident occurred” during the testing of a fuselage compartment of an Ilyushin Il-76 cargo plane which led to one person being killed and several being injured, United Aircraft Corporation said in a statement.
According to Russia’s state news agency TASS, six people were injured in the accident at plane factory Aviastar. Emergency crews are operating on site, the injured are being provided with medical assistance, the statement reads.
