Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, reported this morning that Ukraine had downed the first Russian missiles over its airspace.
In the morning, an air raid warning was declared over the entire territory of Ukraine, alerts.in.ua reports.
There are people injured in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, the administration added. Later, the mayor reported that one person had been killed and two had been injured in the attacks on Kyiv.

“Unfortunately, there are hits in the Vinnytsia region,” Yuri Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, said during a national telethon. According to the head of the regional administration, no one was injured.
In Odesa, two critical infrastructure objects were damaged in the attacks by the Russian army, Suspilne reports citing the regional administration head.
According to Mykolaiv region head Vitaliy Kim, missiles entered the Ukrainian airspace. “At least 2 towards the northwest through the Mykolaiv region,” Kim wrote.
The South operational command headquarters reported that enemy jets were active in the direction of the Caspian Sea.
“We know that 3 missile carriers equipped with 20 Kalibr missiles are in the Black Sea,” command spokeswoman Natalia Humeniuk said.
Ukraine’s air-defence systems overnight intercepted 15 Iran’s Shahed drones flying over Kyiv, head of the Kyiv city military administration Serhiy Popko noted.
“Around 15 enemy drones were downed in the air space. There’s preliminary no victims or infrastructure hits,” the statement reads.
According to the official, the Russian army attacked the Ukrainian capital with a few dozen loitering air munitions.
The Ukrainian air-defence forces reported that the Russian army had launched 24 drones to target facilities across Ukraine, all 24 were shot down.
