Zelensky’s address aired on TV in Sevastopol and Russia’s Belgorod and Krasnodar regions

An address by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has been shown on air in the city of Sevastopol and the Belgorod and Krasnodar regions of Russia, local Telegram channels report.

“In Sevastopol, something malfunctioned on the TNT channel on TV! And a video with Zelensky’s address appeared. What happened?” a message in Telegram channel CHP_Sevastopol says.

Judging by the videos published by the Telegram channel the “issue” occurred not only on the TNT TV channel but on the STS TV channel, too.

Telegram channel Underground Belgorod reports that Zelensky was being shown on several TV channels at once.

“Our readers tell us that at around 16:20 [local time], the broadcast of several TV channels was interrupted by the Ukrainian president’s address,” another Belgorod Telegram channel Zhest Belgorod writes.

In his address, Volodymyr Zelensky says that Ukraine will take back control of the territories that belong to it.

There have been no official comments on the matter as of now.

Zelensky celebrates his birthday today, he has turned 45 years old.
