Local authorities: two people killed in Russian shelling of Kherson region’s city Beryslav

Two people were killed and three were injured following shelling of the city of Beryslav in the Kherson region of Ukraine carried out by Russia’s Armed Forces, the local administration reports.

The administration’s statement says that Russian Armed Forces “intentionally attacked the place of people’s mass gathering”. The shells hit the local market filled with people.

“Two people were killed due to Russian shelling. Three local residents received injuries of different severity. They were hospitalised, doctors are providing them with necessary care,” the administration representative says.

On 15 January, the Kherson region authorities reported two people having gotten injured following Russian shelling.
