Five people were injured in Zaporizhzhia by Russia’s attack and admitted to hospital as a missile fell near a five-storey apartment block, as per Kyrylo Tymoshenko of Zelensky’s administration.
The building had its windows smashed, injuring people, but its support structures remained intact. Oleksandr Starukh, the local governor, says rescuers, doctors, and utility workers are on the scene. Russia executed a strike on Zaporizhzhia and its satellite town.
“Industrial, residential, and other civilian facilities have been hit,” he said.
Ukraine’s General Staff reported this morning that Russia had executed two missile strikes and used multiple rocket launchers on at least 55 occasions, namely against the civilian infrastructure in the regions of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Kherson.
The death toll of Russia’s strike upon the apartment block in Ukraine’s Dnipro recently increased to 36, including two children. The rescue operation on the site has been going on for almost 40 hours straight.
