Russian MoD confirms missile attacks which killed at least 23 in Ukraine: ‘All designated targets hit’

Russia’s Defence Ministry has confirmed yesterday’s missile attacks on Ukraine in its daily bulletin.

“On 14 January 2023, a missile strike was launched against Ukraine’s military command and control system and associated energy facilities. All designated targets were hit. The objective of the strike has been achieved,” reads the agency’s statement.

Russia executed a new massive shelling of Ukraine yesterday. Explosions were reported in the Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Khmelnytskyi regions of the country.

No less than 23 people were killed in Dnipro as Russia’s Kh-22 missile hit an apartment block in the city. Rescuers are still clearing the debris, and dozens of people remain missing.
