According to Budanov, the hostilities in March will be “the most warm”.

“This is [when we will see more] liberation of territories and dealing the final defeats to the Russian Federation,” he said. “This will happen throughout Ukraine, from Crimea to the Donbas.”

The spy chief also noted that attacks on Russian territories are likely to continue and they will happen “deeper and deeper”. Budanov also refused to take responsibility for them, saying that he would be able to share this information only after the war ended.

Budanov also announced that US Bradley armoured vehicles would be sent to Ukraine shortly. “We are waiting for them. We’re looking forward to them very much. This will significantly improve the combat ability of our units,” he stressed.
