Russia’s TV Rain raises €120,000 to buy generators for Ukraine

Russia’s opposition TV Rain has collected and donated €120,000 to purchase generators for Ukraine during its New Year’s Eve broadcast, the channel reports.

TV Rain has transferred the funds to Breath, a Dutch charity. Some viewers donated money directly to the foundation.

Breath collects donations to buy and send humanitarian aid for Ukrainian civilians. The foundation’s team particularly purchases generators which Ukrainians need due to energy infrastructure attacks carried out by the Russian army.
