According to Fedorov, more than 10 Russian military bases have been destroyed in missile strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region, including a checkpoint and a radiolocation station.
The Melitopol mayor also claims that one of the targets was a hotel that housed two types of Russian troops, one of them was FSB officers who were charged with analytics and databases.
“So these FSB officers and their databases are no longer there,” said Fedorov.
According to the official, the missile strike on the hotel killed around ten Russian military servicemen and left hundreds injured.
On 10 December, spokesperson for the Zaporizhzhia region occupation authorities Vladimir Rogov said that Ukrainian forces had attacked a hotel, 2 people died. Later, the Russia-installed authorities reported that the death toll had risen to 10.
