Missile attacks Ukraine-wide, including Kyiv: three killed, six injured

An infrastructure facility was hit by a missile, says Vitali Klitschko, the city’s mayor.

UNIAN has posted the footage of the alleged explosion. Emergency blackouts are being introduced in the city.

Three people were killed and six were injured in Kyiv, the local authorities report.

Klitschko has also reported that there were several more explosions in various parts of Kyiv, ambulances being on their way to help.

Oleksiy Kuleba, the Kyiv region mayor, has reported that the missiles hit a residential area and various infrastructure facilities. There is a threat of more attacks, he says.

Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of Lviv, has urged the local residents to hide in shelters. The entire city is having a blackout now. There may also be issues with water supply, he says.

Serhiy Borzov, the Vinnytsia governor, has also reported that Russia’s army is shelling the crucial infrastructure facilities.

Oleksandr Tretiak, the mayor of Rivne, has reported an air raid alert.

A house caught fire in Vyshhorod, the Kyiv region, hit by a missile, says Anton Herashchenko, an official advisor at the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Moldova, which is bordering Ukraine in the southwest and is connected to Ukraine’s power grid, is also experiencing blackouts. “Same as 15 November, we are having blackouts nationwide following Russia’s attacks on Ukraine,” says Andrei Spînu, the country’s Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
