Two men have touched off a landmine while in a car in Russia’s Bryansk region, one of them died of wounds, as per Alexander Bogomaz, the local governor. The second man is in hospital.
The border-straddling localities of Russia’s regions of Kursk, Bryansk, and Belgorod have been hit with shells numerous times since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Belgorod region authorities started installing makeshift defences, such as Czech hedgehogs, on 22 October.
