Donetsk city hall struck by HIMARS, Russia-installed official says

The Donetsk city administration building has been struck by HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, Russia-appointed mayor of the city Alexey Kulemzin says.

According to him, three HIMARS missiles were launched in the direction of the Voroshilovky district in Donetsk. One missile reportedly hit the city council building.

“Today, at 07:37, a direct hit of an enemy projectile on the Donetsk city administration building <…> was documented. Three cars parked in front of the building burned down. Windows were shattered in the city administration building,” he wrote.

RIA Novosti reports, citing the territorial defence headquarters of the self-proclaimed Donetsk “people’s republic”, that at least two people were injured in the city hall strike. They were taken to a trauma centre.
