In the Tver region of Russia, 48 mobilised men have been returned home, local governor Igor Rudenya tells TV channel Russia-24 — Tver.
“A commission has been created, during hearings [of the commission] questions about possible cancellation of mobilisation decisions for certain citizens are considered. Due to medical exemptions and family reasons, 48 people were demobilised, more [similar] decisions will be made soon,” Rudenya said.
According to the governor, the rest of the mobilised men were put in an old Suvorov military school, a sports complex, barracks, and the building of the Zhukov Air and Space Defence Academy.
Previously, other cases of demobilisation in the Tver region were reported. According to the regional government, a demobilisation decision was made in regards to 23 people.
Back then, Igor Rudenya said that their demobilisation was due to “medical reasons and studying in higher education institutions”.
