23 civilians killed in Russia’s strike on Zaporizhzhia region

23 civilians were killed and 28 were wounded by Russia’s strike on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, Oleksandr Starukh, the local governor, says.

“We know of 23 killed and 28 wounded as of now; all civilians,” he wrote on Telegram.

Russia aimed at a convoy of buses, he says. “Some people were queueing up to enter the temporarily occupied territory to pick their relatives up from there and to deliver some aid,” Starukh reports.

Vladimir Rogov, the pro-Russian occupation “official”, claims that the strike had been executed by Ukraine’s army. He reports 23 civilians dead and 34 wounded.

Local authorities also reported strikes on Dnipro and Mykolayiv earlier today.
