Two ladies sent to jail for 5 days in Moscow for wearing Ukrainian funeral costumes and holding ‘no war’ poster

A court in Moscow has sent two ladies, Galina Semyonova and Valeria Demidova, to jail for 5 days for holding an anti-war protest near the Defence Ministry HQ, OVD-Info reports.

They were wearing Ukrainian funeral costumes and holding a poster reading “no war”. The two have been charged with “organising an unapproved event” and “discrediting the Russian army.”
