Earlier, the State Duma’s deputies approved the candidature of Denis Manturov as Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Industry and Trade.
The 58-year-old Rogozin has been at the helm of Roscosmos since May 2018.
Before that, he served as Deputy Prime Minister for Defence and Space Industry, and chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission, of the Supervisory Board of Roscosmos, of the Supervisory Board of the Foundation for Advanced Research Projects in the Defence Industry, of the government Marine Board, of the Arctic Development Commission, of the Border Commission, and of the Commission on Export Control.
In April 2016, Rogozin received a reprimand after the failed launch of the rocket Soyuz-2.1a from the Vostochny Cosmodrome, which Putin personally attended.
