‘Just in case’: Roscosmos publishes coordinates and satellite images of Pentagon and NATO HQ prior to NATO summit

On the eve of the NATO summit, which opens today in Madrid, the Russian State Corporation Roscosmos has published satellite images of the place of the summit as well as the coordinates of the “decision making centres” that “support the Ukrainian nationalists”.

“Today the NATO summit is opening in Madrid. During the summit, the Western countries will declare Russia their biggest enemy. While the representatives of 30 countries as well as NATO partners and candidates will be discussing the Strategic Concept until 2030, Roscosmos is publishing satellite images of the place where the summit is being held and those “decision making centres” that support the Ukrainian nationalists. While we are at it, here are the coordinates of the objects. Just in case,” writes Roscosmos on its Telegram channel.

Roscosmos’ list includes:

  • The White House, the US (38.897542, -77.036505);
  • The Pentagon, the US (38.870960, -77.055935);
  • The UK government, the UK (51.503049, -0.127727);
  • The Élysée Palace, France (48.870433, 2.316842);
  • The German Chancellery (52.519903, 13.368921);
  • The NATO Headquarters, Belgium (50.879986, 4.425771).

The summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) will take place in Madrid from 28 to 30 June. Earlier, Spanish newspaper El País reported that during the summit the countries will make a decision about the biggest deployment of troops since the Cold War. The newspaper’s sources said that some of the Allies want to at least double NATO’s presence in the Eastern Europe countries. Besides that, according to the same sources, the countries that are located closest to Russia want to increase their defensive position—to have at least 15,000 servicemen under the command of a general.
