A total of ten civilians were killed when Russia shelled a coke and chemical plant in Avdiivka, says Pavlo Kyrylenko, the Donetsk governor.
“They knew for sure where to aim. The shell hit a crowd of workers waiting for a bus to take them home from their shift,” wrote Kyrylenko. He also added that 15 more people were injured on this occasion.
The Avdiivka Coke Plant was previously shelled on 24 April and suffered severe damage. No less than nine more people were killed in last night's shelling of the Donetsk region, reported Kyrylenko earlier today. At least three people were killed in Avdiivka, just as many as in Vuhledar and Lyman.
