Ukraine has destroyed two Russian Raptor patrol boats near Zmiinyi Island (also known as Snake Island), Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluznhy said.
According to Zaluzhny, the patrol boats were destroyed on the morning of May 2 by a Bayraktar drone. He also published a video showing the drone targeting one of the boats.
Russia has neither confirmed nor denied this statement so far. It is impossible to verify the reports provided by the warring sides during an ongoing conflict.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defence Ministry stated that Russia had destroyed 38 military objects in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, including the Osa-AKM missile system, a battery of multiple rocket launchers in the area of Arkhangelovka, and a MiG-29 Ukrainian fighter in the area of Slovyansk.
