Chechnya’s ruler Ramzan Kadyrov has placed a million dollar bounty to find out where the Sheikh Mansur Battalion and Dzhokhar Dudayev Battalion are located.
“I’m offering a million dollars <...> to the person who tells me these so-called battalions are. <...> We must find them and destroy them, or they should kneel and ask their people to forgive them, to apologise before all the Muslims. If they don’t do that, we’ll cut their heads off,” said Kadyrov in a voice message he posted on his Telegram.
An undisclosed philanthropist is ready to donate money for the bounty. Kadyrov also said that the members of these battalions “disgrace the names of Sheikh Mansur and Dzhokhar Dudayev.”
Kadyrov stated on 13 April that his troops had started “to liquidate hirelings” in the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic. He said that those are mainly “Ichkerian and Georgian battalions, and some other criminals.”
