More people are believed to be trapped under the rubble of Kyiv’s Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital, which was struck by a ballistic missile during the attacks, while Russian state media have been reporting that the target of the airstrikes was a “military warehouse”.
“Russia cannot help but know where its missiles are flying,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday, adding that “it must be held fully accountable for all its crimes: against people, against children, against humanity in general.”
“The objectives of the strike have been achieved. The designated objects have been hit,” the Russian Defence Ministry said in a statement following the strikes.
